Some of AECs newest features include an expanded administrative assistance department and technological team, which are now made up of three individual divisions to meet the demands of todays business environment:
Clerical Services. These services are akin to having a temp for a day. Instead of hiring someone from an outside temporary agency, our in-house clerical support can do any of your non-computer related service: from envelope stuffing, filing, patching an important call to you at a remote location, catering a luncheon meeting, tending to a copy job, or finding that last minute gift. One advantage to hiring a person from AECs clerical services department is, unlike a temp from an outside agency that is gone the next day, AECs temps are right down the hall - so theyre available to answer questions about past work theyve done for you. How many times have you hired a temporary to do some filing and then once theyre gone, you cant figure out where your work went! AECs temps are available to help you out on any project - large or small - with the convenience of having them just a few steps away if you need them. These clerical services are available for either two or four hour blocks a day for $20 per hour for a two hour minimum day, or $17 per hour for a four hour minimum day. Technology Management Services. This is another in-house capability available to our clients to help them maintain their PC, offer tech support, install software, software training, as well as providing remote backup and data storage. Every full-time office person has an IT, or information technology, button in case they are having any technological difficulties or have any computer-related questions. Someone from the IT department will then walk the client through, step-by-step, or if needed, can come to their office to assist them. The IT department can do everything from install hardware and software, virus protection, hook-up clients with T1 access and remote backup and data storage. Remote backup is critical in the event of a PC crash and an integral part of any disaster recovery plan. The basic PC Maintenance plan, which provides basic cleaning and monthly updates to your virus protection software, is just $33 per month. Any other tech or software support is billed from $60-75 per hour. Our IT tech support staff is A+ Certified. |
